Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of centralized boiler and chiller equipment, including routine inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Operation of centralized boiler and chiller equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Repair of centralized boiler and chiller equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Monitoring high pressure steam boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, deaerators, surge tanks, feed water systems, and steam and chilled water distribution.
  • Operating and maintaining high pressure steam boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, deaerators, surge tanks, feed water systems, and steam and chilled water distribution.
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Central Plant, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of the Central Plant.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to other team members.
Requirements:
  • Stationary Engineer's license from a city, state, or nationally recognized entity, such as National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers (NIULPE) First Class Engineer or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of boiler and chiller equipment operation, maintenance, and repair for a Central Plant.
  • Skilled in monitoring, operating, and maintaining high pressure steam boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, deaerators, surge tanks, feed water systems, steam and chilled water distribution, and chemical treatment systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
