Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team. As a Developmental Therapist, you will work closely with children with autism, their families, and our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans.
You will be responsible for teaching new skills to children in a 1:1 setting, engaging them in play-based routines, and collaborating with our team to ensure comprehensive growth and development.
Responsibilities- Teach new skills to children with autism in a 1:1 setting
- Engage children in play-based routines to promote learning and development
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. psychology, child development)
- Experience working with children with autism or similar populations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build connections with children and families
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
