The Finance Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the precise and timely processing of accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash reconciliations, and general ledger entries within the ERP system. This position also involves supporting various accounting functions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain comprehensive records for all customers.
  • Handle the processing of vendor and customer invoices, along with credit memos.
  • Collect payments from customers and vendors, ensuring accurate system entry.
  • Oversee a systematic weekly collection process, including communication via calls and emails.
  • Investigate, monitor, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Safeguard the organization's integrity by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Review and input new customer and vendor data into the system.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects, reporting, account reconciliations, and other finance-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities (including pivots and lookups).
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously, creatively address challenges, and navigate through uncertainty.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline is preferred.
