Job Title: RAD - CT Tech

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a CT Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of computed tomography images.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions and position patients for scanning
  • Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image visibility
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and follow safety procedures when working with radiation
  • Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
  • ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
