Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide exceptional patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and imaging results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA and ARRT-approved program in Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT (CT) certification required
  • BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required
  • Completed high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move patients, equipment, and supplies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • GE and Siemens experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a free-standing ED environment
