McLaren USA is seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Central Telemetry department, you will be responsible for obtaining current and accurate information, expanding your knowledge base, and interpreting telemetry data for 24-hour periods. You will communicate with Registered Nurses and Nursing Assistants via the Cisco phone system to manage telemetry needs and rhythm changes. Your duties will include completing rhythm interpretation and documentation every 2 hours, running comprehensive reports, and posting to patient charts every 6 hours. You will also obtain accurate data on phone assignments for all telemetry-capable units and review report sheets with your replacement at the end of each shift. To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma and pass a required ECG test. Previous experience as a Telemetry/Monitor Tech or training in an approved program (EKG Interpretation, EMT/Paramedic, etc.) is preferred.
