Job Title: System Integration Test Engineer

Description:

Job Summary:
Belcan is seeking a skilled System Integration Test Engineer to join our team. As a System Integration Test Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and/or systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and/or systems.
  • Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
  • Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
  • Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
  • Writes reports and performs integration testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.

Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Active Secret Clearance required to start
  • BS degree and 6-8 years of relevant professional engineering experience
  • A solid background in troubleshooting and debugging is essential as this position will involve supporting the existing installed test equipment base used on production floor as well as developing new equipment.
  • Working familiarity with measurement and test equipment.
  • Familiar with test equipment, new and old, and be familiar with the various vendors that manufacture the equipment as well.
  • A significant experience programming test equipment and automating test and measurements solutions with LabVIEW is required.
  • Experience with TestStand is also required.
  • Experience programming with Python is desired.
