Position Overview...
As a Tire and Battery Service Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective service in both the sales and service sectors of the department, ensuring our members receive exceptional value. You will collaborate with fellow associates to meet and exceed member expectations.

Key Responsibilities...
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate peers on tools, tasks, and resources while mentoring new technicians; enhance communication and interpersonal skills to provide safe and effective customer service.
  • Industry Expertise: Exhibit knowledge of safety and compliance standards, tire and battery industry regulations, service protocols, equipment operations, and product specifications; demonstrate proficiency in Point of Sale systems and effective selling techniques.
  • Technological Proficiency: Utilize digital tools to strategize and drive sales, enhance the service experience, and boost associate engagement; employ handheld technology to make informed business decisions regarding services, safety alerts, and product information.
  • Ownership and Accountability: Communicate equipment and supply needs to the team lead; monitor returns and special orders; manage cash register operations; maintain accurate inventory and compliance standards; report any safety hazards or product issues; assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve concerns.
  • Brand Advocacy: Serve as a brand ambassador by prioritizing the member experience in the Tire and Battery Center; inspire and influence others to work in a respectful and supportive manner; identify challenges and assist in training team members.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing relevant action plans; utilize the Open Door Policy; and apply these principles in executing business processes.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by leveraging policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, and customers; identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and recommendations for improvement.

The hourly wage range for this role is $21.00 to $28.00.

*The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.
