About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Shuttle Driver to join our team at GLOVIS America, Inc. in Georgia - West Point, GA. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for conducting safe and efficient vehicle movement/parking while preparing new factory condition vehicles for various stages of logistics processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new finished-product vehicles to designated locations
  • Drive and park vehicles in accordance with the Transportation & Handling Manual
  • Inspect vehicles to ensure they are damage-free and functioning correctly
  • Perform tire pressure checks and battery condition checks
  • Remove exterior/interior plastic protective wrap and drive vehicles on/off conveyors
  • Remove trash from vehicles and complete checklists as required
Requirements
  • Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions
  • Ability to read and write
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles
  • Ability to record and verify numbers 17 characters in length

Working Conditions

This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting. Exposure to loud noises from vehicles and heavy machinery, indoor and outdoor weather conditions, and chemicals/fumes is expected.
