Job Summary: As a Radiologic Technologist at Allina Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. You will work under the direction of a provider or radiologist to perform technical and diagnostic imaging functions, ensuring timely and accurate results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Imaging Services: Complete procedures in compliance with physician orders, regulatory requirements, and department guidelines.
  • Patient Care: Room patients and manage patient flow, identifying patients with two identifiers and documenting all necessary aspects of the procedure.
  • Diagnostic Expertise: Perform procedures with a high degree of accuracy, demonstrating knowledge of all diagnostic equipment and gathering relevant information to assist in image interpretation.
  • Communication: Interact with patients to welcome, explain, and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate with supervisors and team members, reporting problems, issues, or ideas, and providing assistance, ideas, and information to support the work of others.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certifications: Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required, and Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire.

Work Environment: This role will work in an outpatient clinic setting, with a potential to float to other North Metro Allina Clinics. The schedule includes 24 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts, and a rotation of weekdays and weekends.
