Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the creation and upkeep of execution plans throughout preconstruction, construction, and project closeout phases.
  • Gains a comprehensive understanding of prime contract stipulations and integrates this knowledge into project operations.
  • Coordinates the review and endorsement process with senior management, ensuring clear communication with the project team.
  • Assists in formulating and maintaining detailed project scopes of work, effectively communicating these to the team.
  • Monitors the project budget closely, identifying and addressing any discrepancies as they arise.
  • Contributes to the preparation of change control documentation and associated financial records.
  • Coordinates safety resources to uphold site safety standards and rectify any noncompliance issues.
  • Oversees design quality and content, ensuring compliance with foundational documents, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Facilitates the procurement and coordination of necessary project resources across various divisions.
  • Supports the drafting of subcontracts, purchase orders, and change control documentation.
  • Assists in evaluating vendor and subcontractor invoices for accuracy.
  • Ensures that all project activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Identifies potential project challenges and formulates strategies to address them.
  • Encourages effective communication and collaboration within project teams.

Qualifications:

  • 12-16 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, project management, or construction management.
  • Professional certifications are highly valued, including CCT, CCP, CST, CSP, EVP, CMIT, CCM, PMP, or EIT.
  • Proficient in various industry-standard software, including:
    • MS Office Suite
    • Scheduling tools like Primavera and MS Project
    • Client ERP systems such as JDE, QUAD, SAP, ARIBA, CONCUR
    • PPM Software: Prolog, Proliance, Prism G2, Procore, Cleopatra, Cora Systems

Safety Considerations:

  • Must embody a safety-first mindset in alignment with IPS's Mission Zero Safety policy.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Physical demands include prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting, along with extensive computer use.
  • Experience in both office and field environments is essential.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
