About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join our dynamic and innovative construction company, Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all mechanical aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all mechanical aspects of construction projects, including HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing work.
  • Coordinate and schedule tasks for the mechanical team to ensure project completion.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop detailed plans and blueprints.
  • Inspect and evaluate mechanical systems and equipment to identify any issues or potential risks.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on mechanical matters to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Regularly report on project progress, issues, and outcomes to senior management.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience leading mechanical construction projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes used in construction.
  • Proven experience in managing and supervising a team of construction professionals.
  • A solid understanding of construction safety regulations and quality control procedures.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
