RN Observation Per Diem Nights Nurse

Abrazo Health Network is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Observation Per Diem Nights RN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Job Summary:The Observation Per Diem Nights RN will provide professional nursing care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in hourly rounding and systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare employees as needed.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
- CPR certification.
- ACLS certification, as applicable by facility/department.
- Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience, including neonatal ventilator.
- Preferred experience in acute care, with certification in specialty area of practice.
