The Capitana is seeking a highly organized and personable individual for the role of Front Desk Supervisor. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the initial experiences of our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. The Front Desk Supervisor is tasked with managing each interaction with care, embodying the essence of our brand.
In addition to performing various administrative and procedural responsibilities, the ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively is essential. This role also includes the training and development of new Front Desk team members, ensuring they align with our service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcoming guests upon their arrival
- Identifying and acknowledging returning guests and VIPs
- Overseeing the check-in and check-out processes
- Providing comprehensive front desk services
- Managing room assignments and related administrative tasks
- Delivering messages and mail to guests
- Processing payments from guests
- Coordinating with bell staff and management
- Offering guests information on transportation and dining options
- Addressing both standard and unique guest requests
- Effectively resolving conflicts or challenging situations with guests
- Training and mentoring new Front Desk Agents
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational capabilities
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Patience and attentive listening skills
