Position Summary

We are currently in search of a full-time Electrical Assembler II to become a vital part of our Electrical Department. The successful candidate will be tasked with the assembly and wiring of control panels in accordance with electrical schematics. Responsibilities will include the wiring of component assemblies and the installation and connection of control cables to various products. This role requires a self-motivated individual capable of prioritizing tasks and working independently after receiving training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire control panels with precision.
  • Install and route electrical cables, cable channels, and electrical cabinets.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will possess a keen attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills. The ability to maintain focus and apply practical understanding to execute detailed instructions is essential. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on electrical experience is preferred, with on-the-job training provided as necessary.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proficiency in using basic electrical devices.
  • Experience with hand and power tools is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with point-to-point wiring on electrical panels and the ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics is a plus.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract stipulations.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Physical: Capable of balancing, climbing, bending, stooping, crawling, and performing light to heavy lifting. Must possess fine motor skills and the ability to grasp small items.
  • Visual: Must be able to read layout drawings and assemble systems accurately.
  • Hearing: Ability to identify hazard sounds and maintain awareness of the production environment for safety.
  • Mental: Strong comprehension, organizational, reasoning, decision-making, communication, and mathematical skills are necessary.
