Position Summary

We are currently in search of a dedicated Electrical Assembler II to become a vital part of our Electrical Department. This role involves the construction and wiring of control panels in accordance with electrical schematics. Responsibilities include:

  • Assembling and wiring control panels
  • Installing and routing electrical cables, cable channels, and cabinets

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possessing strong communication and organizational skills. A successful individual will demonstrate the ability to focus and follow detailed instructions, both written and verbal. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of hands-on electrical experience, with on-the-job training provided as necessary. Key qualifications include:

  • Proficiency with basic electrical devices
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Familiarity with point-to-point wiring on electrical panels and the ability to interpret electrical diagrams and schematics is advantageous
  • US Citizenship is required due to federal contract stipulations

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years in a relevant field.

Physical and Mental Demands

  • Physical: Capable of balancing, climbing, bending, stooping, crawling, and lifting various weights. Must possess fine motor skills and the ability to perform repetitive motions.
  • Visual: Ability to read layout drawings and assemble systems accurately.
  • Auditory: Must be able to recognize hazard sounds and maintain awareness of the production environment.
  • Mental: Strong comprehension, organizational, reasoning, decision-making, communication, and mathematical skills are essential.
