In this clinical role, you will be embedded inside a medical oncology clinic to partner with provider and nursing teams to support direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to participate in groundbreaking new clinical trials in partnership with our investigational drug services team.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical review, entry, and modification of oncology treatment plans
- Oncology order verification, hazardous and non-hazardous sterile admixture check
- Partnership with clinic providers and nursing to provide remarkable patient care
- Proficiency with equipment and software
- Resident (PGY1/PGY2) and student precepting
- Participation in committees such as P&T, tumor boards, and shared governance
- Order set review and development
- Medication therapy management and patient counseling

Qualifications- 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, required
- Doctorate of Pharmacy, preferred
- Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship, or two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, required
- Oncology experience, strongly preferred
- Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s), required
- Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification, required
