Job Summary

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at CHI St Vincent Infirmary. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review prescriptions in queue for safety and accuracy, checking patient allergies, weight, renal function, and lab test results to ensure medications are safe and effective.
  • Make recommendations if you see an error or know another medication would be better.
  • Review compounded or filled medications for accuracy.
  • Attend interdisciplinary meetings to provide information and be a pharmacy resource.
  • Provide exceptional service to patients and nurses filling orders.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with approved internship and/or residency.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Arkansas or graduate intern.
  • Pharm D preferred, but not required.
  • Previous acute care experience preferred, but not required.
