We are seeking a highly skilled Import Logistics Specialist to join our team at Clutch Global Logistics, Inc. As a key member of our import team, you will be responsible for coordinating with overseas agents for import FCL bookings, providing shipping options to US customers, and selecting carriers, routings, and schedules strategically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with overseas agents for import FCL bookings
- Provide shipping options to US customers
- Select carriers, routings, and schedules strategically
- Handle shipments from booking to delivery
- Track shipment progress
- Ensure timely customs clearance
- Complete costing and rating for billing
- Design solutions for customer issues
- Provide rates and quotes for customers
Additional Responsibilities for Experienced Applicants:
- Negotiate FCL contracts
- Manage carrier portfolio
- Stay updated on trade lane information
