Your Role:

As an Avionics Technician, you will work alongside a talented team of professionals focused on the mechanical upkeep and repair of various commercial aircraft. Your technical skills will be crucial in ensuring the operational effectiveness and dependability of our clients' aircraft, all while adhering to the stringent regulations set forth by the F.A.A. You will be responsible for removing, cleaning, servicing, and replacing a variety of aircraft components using specialized tools and ground support equipment, following both verbal and written instructions to complete all tasks efficiently.

  • Remove and replace aircraft components and electrical systems utilizing specialized tools and ground support equipment, adhering to both verbal and written directives to complete all assignments in a timely manner.
  • Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Maintain tools in a serviceable condition and ensure proper storage.
  • Follow safe maintenance practices and maintain a tidy work environment.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed on OJT forms for the Training Department.
  • Complete any required training courses as designated by the Training Department.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required; FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience in heavy commercial maintenance with a focus on avionics.
