Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Overview

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for performing avionics troubleshooting, installs, repairs, maintenance, and modifications to the avionics and electrical systems for various models F/A-18 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform avionics troubleshooting, installs, repairs, maintenance, and modifications to the avionics and electrical systems for F/A-18 aircraft.
  • Modify and upgrade Radar Package, Communications / Comm Sec equipment, and other avionics systems.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs as required.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Avionics Maintenance/Modification Experience.
  • F/A-18 Aircraft Experience highly desired - other fighter jet experience may also be accepted.
  • Avionics Modification experience highly desired but not required.
  • Avionics troubleshooting and installation experience required.
  • CDI / CDQAR Experience and/or qualifications highly desired.
