Position Details:
Shift: 3rd Shift
Role Summary:
We are in search of a talented Mechanic/Technician with a strong interest in the scientific sector. This full-time, permanent position presents a unique chance to engage with advanced scientific machinery and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine maintenance inspections on all machinery, identifying potential issues and executing preventative strategies.
2. Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and PLC systems.
3. Operate and maintain aseptic production machinery, including cappers, labelers, cartoners, and bundlers.
4. Utilize vision systems to assess equipment performance and implement necessary adjustments.
5. Provide training to colleagues on the operation and upkeep of various machinery.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal equipment efficiency and productivity.
7. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and training activities.
8. Adhere to all safety and operational protocols.
9. Communicate effectively with team members and management, offering updates and reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician in the scientific field or a related industry.
- Demonstrated expertise with hydraulic systems, PLC, controls, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with aseptic production machinery such as cappers, labelers, cartoners, and bundlers.
- Proficient in vision systems.
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capability to effectively train others.
- Bilingual skills are a significant advantage.
- Experience in aseptic environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
