Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Executive Security Specialist to join our team at Marriott International, Inc.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires you to patrol all areas of the property, assist guests with room access, and monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system. You will also be responsible for locking property entrances when required, conducting daily physical hazard inspections, responding to accidents, contacting EMS or administering first aid/CPR as needed, and assisting guests/employees during emergency situations.

Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to ensure the safety and security of guests and employees
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to their requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Lock property entrances when required to maintain a secure environment
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as needed to provide medical assistance
  • Assist guests/employees during emergency situations, providing guidance and support to ensure their safety and well-being
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., hospitality, security, law enforcement)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a security-related role, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
  • Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols, including CCTV monitoring and access control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, employees, and external partners
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Physical stamina to walk, stand, and move around the property, as well as lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
