Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Office Coordinator/Ophthalmic Technician to join our team at CABVI. As a key member of our Rehabilitation Department, you will be responsible for managing office operations, providing customer service support, and ensuring the smooth delivery of our vision rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage office operations, including department management and customer service support.
  • Provide ophthalmic technician services during exams and conduct low vision pre-evaluations, pretesting, and ancillary testing.
  • Process referrals from various agencies and maintain accurate patient files.
  • Collaborate with the CABVI Optician and Outreach Coordinator to promote agency services and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in ophthalmology or optometry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with confidential information and maintain a professional demeanor.
