Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Representative to join our team at Apree Health. Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Communication: Welcome and greet patients in a friendly and helpful manner, determining the purpose of their visit and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Customer Service: Maintain great customer service at all times, resolving conflicts and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Scheduling and Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments for patients, update patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR), and perform day-to-day administrative functions.
  • Outreach and Follow-up: Conduct daily outreach to remind patients of upcoming appointments and proactively reach out as directed by clinic leadership.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect and process payments at the time of service.
  • Phone and Insurance Communication: Answer phone calls, embed urgent/emergent protocols, and contact insurance companies or other associated companies as needed for patient care.
  • Team Collaboration: Attend and participate in team meetings and huddles, collaborating in developing team priorities and exercising problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred; minimum 1-2 years' experience working in a customer service setting, medical office preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Exceptional interpersonal customer service skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to maintain professionalism at all times, cultural sensitivity, and ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Employee Health Requirements: Documentation of Hep B vaccination or proof of immunity, documentation of proof of a negative TB test in the last 90 days, CPR certification (BLS) pre-hire and ongoing, and annual influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations in compliance with company policy.
Compensation

$18-$23/hr. & bonus eligible (national average, premium markets may vary)
