  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide patient and family education on wound care, treatment plans, and preventative measures.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality and Performance Improvement (CQPI) initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and hospital operations.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state.
  • Graduate of an accredited wound ostomy care nurse program with current licensure.
  • At least 2 years of experience in wound care or a related specialty.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
  • Wound Ostomy Care Nurse (WOCN) certification preferred.
