Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Core Staffing Service is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team on a travel assignment in Rochester, Minnesota.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to aid healthcare providers in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have experience with instrument operation and maintenance, troubleshooting assays, and evaluating tests for accuracy.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to aid healthcare providers in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including automated testing instruments.
  • Troubleshoot assays and evaluate tests for accuracy.
  • Assist with interpreting results and provide operational support to optimize testing.
  • Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results.
  • Adhere to safety protocols when working with infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards.
Requirements:
  • Medical Laboratory Technician certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with instrument operation and maintenance, troubleshooting assays, and evaluating tests for accuracy.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and assist with specimen collection.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
