Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer facials and waxing treatments while adhering to professional and safe practices.
  • Provide consistent skincare services that meet the standards of Rancho Valencia and uphold our reputation for excellence.
  • Manage and maintain the inventory required for treatments.
  • Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation in your workspace.
  • Punctually greet guests and manage treatment schedules effectively.
  • Adapt to varying work hours to meet the needs of the spa.
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance in line with grooming standards.
  • Promote spa services and products to enhance guest experiences.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
  • Support safety initiatives and community engagement efforts.
  • Communicate proactively with management regarding any operational concerns.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assist with various spa operations as necessary.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Valid California State Board License.
  • Proficient communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility in work hours availability.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in providing facials and body waxing services.

Skills:

Essential:

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Basic computer literacy and effective communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a luxury spa environment.
  • Advanced understanding of skincare products and techniques.
  • Familiarity with advanced facial technology.

Physical Requirements:

  • Engagement in various physical activities, including reaching, bending, lifting, and standing.
  • Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine motor skills.
  • Occasional extended periods of standing.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Visual acuity for detail-oriented tasks.
  • Auditory skills for effective communication and emergency situations.

Compensation: $32.00 per hour (plus commission)
