Job Summary:

GDIT is seeking a highly skilled Customer Acceptance Tester to support the United States Postal Service. As a CAT Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of CAT testing processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and validate test scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure successful CAT execution and prepare daily summarized outputs on progress and issue remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, validate test scenarios, execute test cases, and track defects through the testing lifecycle.
  • Ensure test results are well documented, test artifacts are developed and attached in ALM, and CAT artifacts are generated and shared with the right stakeholders.
  • Manage the defect process according to the CAT Approach/Plan, promptly addressing critical issues and driving to resolution.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree.
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of relevant professional work experience.
  • Proficient experience working Java, Python, R, XML, JSON, Agile and Waterfall development practices, and associated testing strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience working with ALM, UFT, Selenium, and VersionOne.
  • Demonstrated experience working with DB tools like SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Shipping Services File and PostalOne eVS System.

Security Clearance Level:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.

Location:

  • On-site at USPS HQ in Washington D.C.
