Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mixer Driver to join our team at NEWPORT SAND & GRAVEL CO INC dba Carroll Concrete. As a Mixer Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of our mixer trucks, ensuring timely delivery of concrete to our customers. If you have a valid CDL Class B Driver's License and a strong commitment to safety, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate mixer trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Mix and unload concrete at construction sites, ensuring accurate documentation of materials delivered and time records.
Maintain company vehicles, including pre and post-trip inspections, weekly maintenance, and proper cleaning and washout.
Perform plant/yard maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned, including training in Carroll Concrete's Driver Training Program.

Requirements:

Valid CDL Class B Driver's License (or willingness to obtain with a 2-year commitment).
Mixer driving experience preferred, but we are willing to train.
Ability to lift/maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds multiple times throughout the workday.
Ability to maneuver in and out of truck safely, clean all areas on vehicle, and climb ladder to inspect loads of ready mixed concrete.
Ability to work flexible hours as necessary and perform other tasks as directed by Management within the realm of your capabilities.
