Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Inspector II to join our team at Douglas County. As an Electrical Inspector II, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect electrical systems and installations to ensure compliance with national, state, and local codes and regulations.
  • Conduct site visits to investigate complaints and provide technical assistance to customers.
  • Review and approve electrical plans and permits to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure public safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide training and education to customers on electrical codes and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical inspection or related field.
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License and insurance.
  • Current Colorado Journeyman or Master Electrician's License.
  • Recognized certification in electrical inspection or related field.
