Job Title: Patient Service Representative, Dental Hygiene Clinic

At the University of New England, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our Dental Hygiene Clinic team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for each visitor to our clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Accurately register new patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient records.
  • Verify insurance coverage and collect payments, ensuring accurate and efficient financial transactions.
  • Support the academic success of our students, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Perform general office duties, including answering phones, emailing, and processing patient information.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Ability to accurately collect patient fees and perform simple math calculations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace, with the ability to functionally manage computers and type accurately.
