About the Role

Sibley Memorial Hospital, part of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has a rich history of serving the community since 1890. As a not-for-profit and full-service community hospital, Sibley offers comprehensive medical services, including endoscopy procedures. We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician Level II to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will possess advanced knowledge and skills necessary to perform complex endoscopic procedures. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, they will prepare the procedure room, select and organize equipment, assist physicians, and maintain a clean and orderly environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the procedure room and select equipment for endoscopic procedures
  • Assist physicians during procedures and participate in efficient room turnover
  • Maintain all endoscopic equipment, including cleaning and disinfection
  • Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date on latest techniques and technologies
Requirements

We require a High school diploma or equivalent, 3-5 years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician, completion of Endoscopy Technician Core Curriculum training, achievement of specialty certification, and current CPR Certification.
