Seeking a highly motivated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Olympia, Washington. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position with 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary of $$124,000 per year, based on 10-hour shifts and including tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.

Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocol, including placing specified coil close to area of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocol and monitoring patients via closed circuit TV.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a MRI Technologist.
  • Fully proficient in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • Licensed in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
