About the Role

As a Speech Language Pathologist with CenterWell Home Health, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, each with unique needs and goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities, and developing personalized treatment plans to address any deficits or disorders.
  • Providing one-on-one therapy sessions to patients in their homes, using a variety of techniques and strategies to promote communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Documenting patient progress and communicating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Current certification in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • A minimum of six months of experience as a speech-language pathologist, preferably in a home health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
