Job Title: Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in the evaluation and rehabilitation of patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide per diem coverage for our pediatric acute care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric speech therapy and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide speech and language therapy to patients of all ages
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • Current licensure to practice speech-language pathology in the state of Texas
  • Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • At least one year of experience in pediatric speech therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
