Key Responsibilities

  • Accountability & Integrity:
    • Consistently demonstrate integrity in actions and expectations, ensuring that team members complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner.
    • Schedule and deploy the team correctly, monitoring performance and holding team members accountable for standards and expectations.
    • Ensure a quality customer experience by driving fast and friendly service, maintaining the point of sale system, and adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Family & Teamwork:
    • Create unity in the team by building cross-functional relationships, responding to team member questions, and resolving employee issues in a timely manner.
    • Provide a restaurant that is a safe place for team members to work and customers to visit, navigating challenging situations and providing appropriate guidance.
    • Motivate and support the team through active listening and effective communication, representing Border Foods in handling customer complaints and issues.
  • Excellence:
    • Develop short-term and long-term strategies for restaurant success, delivering profit by utilizing and interpreting the P&L to make financial adjustments.
    • Sourcing, hiring, and developing excellent team members, conducting new hire orientation and developing training plans.
    • Minimize loss through strict observance of cash handling policies, proper training of team members, and compliance with accounting and banking requirements.
  • Empowerment:
    • Provide learning and development opportunities for all team members, consistently demonstrating active and timely coaching capabilities.
    • Seek and share ideas to help others succeed, promoting a positive work environment and employee growth.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands

The physical demands for this position include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.
