Job Title: Educational Support Specialist

The Huff Consulting team is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Educational Support Specialist to join our dedicated staff. As an integral member of our special education team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with exceptional needs in their academic and personal growth.

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to provide instructional support to students with diverse learning styles. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized plans, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in creating customized lesson plans and implementing instructional strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of students with exceptionalities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders regarding student achievements and challenges.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, promoting social, emotional, and academic development through engaging activities and adaptive techniques.

Requirements:
  • A high school degree and 48 semester hours of college-level coursework or an associate degree.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and patience when working with children, staff, and parents.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of student information.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
