Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Eau Claire Automotive Group. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest level of vehicle cleanliness.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning vehicles according to company standards or client specifications. This includes performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing and buffing exteriors, vacuuming and steaming interiors, and maintaining accurate records of gas levels and vehicle condition.

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong communication skills, be familiar with automotive cleaning tools and agents, and have a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per yearKey Responsibilities
  • Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with company standards and client requests.
  • Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
  • Use cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance vehicle appearance.
  • Perform inspections and keep accurate records of vehicle condition.
  • Move and park vehicles, deliver vehicles to correct locations, or pick up owners/drivers as needed.
  • Manage inventory and reorder supplies.
  • Respond to client inquiries and fulfill their requests.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid state driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Successful completion of automotive service tech or other training programs.
  • Prior detailing experience may be preferred.
  • Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
