Creative Director of Retail Marketing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Director of Retail Marketing to join our team at GNC. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of all retail-oriented creative for GNC, including print, digital, and copy creatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute creative concepts for all GNC retail/promo campaigns and projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of creative professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure high-quality output.
- Collaborate with various areas of marketing, vendors, and business partners to oversee the development and production of all retail marketing collateral.
- Manage projects to a specific retail-creative operating budget, providing input upfront to determine allocations.
- Initiate high-level brainstorming and retail campaign development sessions, ensuring ideas integrate and translate across digital, print, social, broadcast, and traditional media.
- Direct the execution of creative retail campaigns in print and digital media, partnering with project managers, merchants, and other creative team members and agencies.
- Lead and collaborate with outside agency or freelance creative resources for outside concept development as required.
- Review all final creative pieces, ensuring quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Support the usage, updating, and maintenance of Brand Guidelines.
- Ensure all other creative teams are informed of project status and proactively communicate any challenges that may impact project timelines.
- Proven experience in creative direction and management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality output.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team of creative professionals.
- Strong understanding of retail marketing principles and practices, with the ability to develop and execute creative concepts that drive business results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
