Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Data Analyst to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a Research Data Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and integrating data from various sources to inform University policies and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply standard techniques and applications for capturing, storing, and analyzing institutional data.
  • Design and implement efficient SQL scripts for recurring reports and data analysis.
  • Apply data mining techniques and statistical software to process ad hoc institutional data requests.
  • Clean, analyze, and report extracted raw data to inform University policies and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with SQL (can be obtained through coursework).

Working Conditions:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with some evenings and weekends.
