About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team at Whalar Group. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that showcases our brand's visual tone and style.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit and produce strong video content, including animation, sound, and graphics, for various platforms and aspect ratios.
  • Work closely with the Content Director to bring our visual language to life and ensure consistency across all projects.
  • Operate a wide range of assignments within the discipline associated with the job, including logging and capturing footage, cutting highlight packages, and short and long features.
  • Create videos highlighting Whalar's varied and exciting campaigns, marketing initiatives, awards submissions, social content, and special projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of video projects.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of industry experience with a strong eye for producing content that cuts above the noise.
  • A creative thinker, comfortable creating content with a high attention to detail.
  • An interest in and understanding of the influencer marketing industry and social media trends.
  • A curious, proactive, and can-do attitude, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with design templates in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Knowledge of principles and best practices for all social marketing channels.
  • Videography skills are required, with the ability to capture footage on-site from time to time.
  • Photography skills are a plus but not required.
