Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Public Space management team, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  • Thoroughly cleans, sanitizes, and maintains appealing public and employee areas.
  • The Floor Technician services designated areas utilizing provided cleaning agents and equipment in accordance with the procedures and standards outlined in the Public Space Handbook.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with a minimum of six months of prior experience in public area cleaning or related fields such as custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping.

Work Environment:

  • While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, reach with hands and arms, communicate verbally, and utilize sensory perception.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
  • The workplace is often fast-paced, crowded, and noisy. Employees may be exposed to environmental factors typical of a busy public space.
  • Effective communication with guests in English is essential, specific to the duties and responsibilities of the position.
