Safety Manager Road Construction

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Safety Coordinator to join our team at IOC Company, LLC. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for implementing and supervising our company safety program, ensuring compliance with OSHA job site safety requirements, and providing training and support to our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and orientation to new hires and existing employees.
- Investigate and report on all incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage and coordinate workers' compensation claims and provide support to injured employees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors to ensure access to relevant training and resources.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in safety management in road and highway construction.
- Associates degree or higher (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Class C driver's license.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
