Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Parkland Health and Hospital System. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans on patients, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Review physician orders and modify CT protocols as necessary, consulting with radiologists to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Screen patients for safety and contraindications, modifying exams as needed to ensure patient safety.
  • Prioritize exams to ensure smooth workflow, minimizing wait times and addressing stat and urgent requests.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology and/or Computed Tomography (CT) Program.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) and/or Computed Tomography (CT).
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) or Texas Medical Board.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card or obtain certification during initial orientation at Parkland.
