Join Our Team as a Lead Behavioral Health Technician

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and adolescents? Do you enjoy mentoring and having fun with kids? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Lead Behavioral Health Technician at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health.

About the Role

As a Lead Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in coordinating and maintaining a therapeutic environment for our Residential Treatment Center. You will be responsible for protecting the health and safety of individuals, assisting Program Coordinators with supervising, planning, and implementing program activities, and managing children's behaviors. You will also serve as a mentor and have fun with kids doing various year-round activities such as art projects, music groups, animal therapy, and athletics.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and maintain a therapeutic environment for our Residential Treatment Center
  • Assist Program Coordinators with supervising, planning, and implementing program activities
  • Manage children's behaviors and provide support as needed
  • Serve as a mentor and have fun with kids doing various year-round activities
  • Assist with planning, implementation, and documentation of activities designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of individuals on Campus
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in human services preferred
  • One (1) year of work experience in behavioral health service delivery or Six (6) months Devereux experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred
