Our healthcare system also encompasses a psychiatric facility, numerous specialty care centers, four residency programs, and nearly 40 affiliated physician practices.


YOUR IMPACT
We are seeking Nurse Residency Program participants for our upcoming class of new graduates.

  • TMH provides Nurse Residency Program cohorts each quarter to accommodate your schedule.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Newly graduated nurses and RNs with less than 6 months of hospital (acute care) experience.
  • Valid Florida RN license or Multi-State RN license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact or NCLEX Authorization to Test (ATT).
  • Current American Heart Association CPR/BLS - Healthcare Provider certification.

Important Note:

You are not required to fulfill college degree and licensing prerequisites to apply or interview for the upcoming program.

TMH can employ you as a Graduate Nurse even prior to passing your NCLEX.

Available Units:
Full-time positions for new graduate RNs may be available in the following units (availability may vary, and positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis):

  • Oncology Center Unit
  • Cardiac Progressive Care Unit
  • Cardiac/Neurology Unit
  • Diabetes Care Unit
  • Internal Medicine Unit
  • Neurology/Neurosurgery Unit
  • Orthopedic/Trauma Center Unit
  • Postoperative Care/Trauma Unit
  • Women's and Children's Specialties
  • Critical Care Units (ICU)
  • Emergency Service Units (ED)


Behavioral Health Center
  • Cath/Ep Lab Units
  • TMH Rehabilitation Center
  • TMH Outpatient Practices (Cancer Center and Residency Program Clinics)
  • Note: Units that do not mandate participation in the Nurse Residency Program, though it is highly recommended for all new RNs.

Work Schedule:

  • Full Time/Days, with night shifts available
* Inquire with HR regarding eligibility/availability during the offer call.

Consult the Unit Manager about eligibility/availability during the interview.

You will be contacted by the Nursing Recruiter regarding your units of interest. Meet with the Nurse Recruiter, Nurse Residency Program Coordinator, and Nurse Managers.
