Job Summary

The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida is seeking a faculty member at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to join our team in the Division of Pediatric Surgery. This is a non-tenure or tenure-accruing track position, and we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about education and research in pediatric surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and mentor medical students and residents in pediatric surgery
  • Conduct research in pediatric surgery and contribute to the development of an academic career
  • Participate in clinical practice and contribute to the development of the Division of Pediatric Surgery

Requirements

  • MD degree or equivalent
  • Board certification or eligibility in pediatric surgery
  • Excellent communication skills and evidence of collaborative work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pediatric surgery research and education
  • Track record of publications and presentations in pediatric surgery
