Plasma Center Technician

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and staff, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, answering phones, greeting and focusing on our donors, and ensuring the safety of donors and staff.
- Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results, and use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records.
- Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes as needed.
- Work in a fast-paced team environment, ensuring a clean and professional work environment, attending team meetings, and working closely with management team.
- Be dependable and work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $17.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and tuition reimbursement program.
