Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and maintain scalable private cloud solutions using OpenStack and MaaS.
  • Develop automation workflows for provisioning and managing bare metal servers in extensive environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance tools that automate infrastructure deployment and operations.
  • Produce high-quality, well-documented code while adhering to OpenSource community standards.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure the security and scalability of our systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing insights on cloud infrastructure and best practices in system management.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in OpenStack components and services.
  • Experience with KVM and Metal as a Service platforms.
  • Strong background in designing and implementing large-scale IT solutions.
  • Expertise in scripting and automation using Python and Go.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code methodologies, particularly Terraform.
  • Proficient in Ansible for configuration management.
  • Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years in a similar role focusing on OpenStack environments.
  • Hands-on experience in systems/server management with technologies like Redfish and IPMI.
  • Experience with security protocols and products, including Active Directory and OAuth.
  • 4+ years of experience in collaborative development environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
